I am currently in US on H1B visa and have applied for Canadian Work Permit 2 months ago, however didn't get any decision yet and soon my H1B is expiring. In case i get approval just before i leave US and dont get time to get passports stamped in US, can i send my passports for stamping in India? Is it possible? if yes, then what will the formalities required?

yes it is possible , talk to your lawyer to send notification to CIC that you will stamp in India.. when u get approval notice for Visa stamping , submit with passport at VFS Canada center in India..
