Dear all:
I am from China and now studying at Australia as a full-time student, I was planning for a trip to Canada to visit one of my old friends but unfortunately got the reply that my application for a temporary visa was refused.
The VO replied me with the following reasons:
1) You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of the your stay as temporary resident.
a) Your immigration status
b) Purpose of visit
c) Your personal assets and financial status
2) I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure.
I was considering the possible faults concerning each reason, and
1) about my immigration status, I provided a e-copy of my student visa granted by Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship, does it counts? Do I need to provide a photocopy of my current student ID? Would that meet this requirement if the student ID is secured?
2) I am really confused at 'purpose of visit', basically I will stay in Vancouver for just a week and I did provide a photocopy of the return ticket. How can I satisfy the VO on this requirement?
3) about financial proof, I provided a bank statement of my account, which showed I got a certain amount of money every month from my parents. I am not sure if the remaining balances did not meet their requirement, which the VO did not explicitly indicated. Do I need provide a letter from my parents claiming they support me financially (however they don't speak English at all)?
4) what else do you think might facilitate my application? an invitation letter or something?
I have travel history of going to Germany for half a month and now study at Australia, really feel frustrated for getting the refusal, hopefully you guys can help me.
