CANADIAN TRV APPLICATION+CFA EXAMINATION

HI all!! I really need your help!!

QUESTION - Is going to canada to sit the CFA exam a valid reason for a canadian TRV application?

BACKGROUND- I want to apply for a TRV to travel to canada for 4 days to write my CFA exam

THE CFA (chartered financial analyst exam -from US dealing with Investment management) is not offered in my country (I have to go overseas to sit the exam) but is offered in closer countries to me than canada - like Barbados and Jamaica.

However, I have a cousin in canada who is willing to accommodate me (no family in jamaica or barbados)
