Hello guys,(Urgent)

I am new to this forum and have read all the postings from the very beginning. However, there seems to be nobody applying from London. This is my case: I’m Nigerian living in the UK. I did my Master’s in the UK and presently work as a research assistant.

I recently received an admission offer for a Master’s degree leading to a PhD, from a Canadian institution with funding that enough to cover my living expenses and tuition.

My questions are:

a) Would the letter of funding on its own suffice for the visa application process, or I still need to include some statement of account?
b) What implication would the funding have on my application?
c) Could anybody with the London application experience comment, please.

I would very much appreciate your swift responses.

hey bro thnx for getting my point .

now i will explain a little bit to you about it though bcoz no matter which country it is procedure is almost the same, first of let us know whats ur status in UK bcoz u have to show enough ties to UK or ur home country that after study u will come back .

2ndly about funding if the universty is offering u full funding for the course and living expensive then its good but still u have to show ur personal bank account statement or any1 from ur family's bank statement and also if u got some property or assets etc jus to make visa officer sure that u have alot of funds or property for which u are going to come back. bcoz in ur case funding for the education is not a problem u dont have to prove that u enough funds to study in canada. :) i hope it is helpful and best of luck for ur future application

Thanks for your post pal. Just to let you know, I'm not married and don't have my own property back in Nigeria. However, I have my siblings and mother, plus a family house that belongs to my mother in Nigeria. I hope that would suffice.
