Hello Everyone,

My name is Arsalan. I have applied for study permit for PG Diploma on 26 Nov, 2014 from VAC Lahore. I got refusal on 3 Dec, 2014. Following are details of my profile.

SSC 88.3%
HSSC 82.6%
BSc Mechatronics And Control Engg 3.38 CGPA.
IELTS: 7.0 Band
Work Experience: 1.5 Years as Field Service Engineer

Applied in Electronic System Engineering Technology Diploma from SIAST (2 Years Program)

Refusal Reason:
You have not satisfied Visa Officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay based on factors:

1) Purpose of Visit.
2) Personal assets and Financial Status.

Following list of documents were included in my application:

- Application Forms
- Acceptance Letter
- My education history (Certificates and Degree)
- My current employment status
- Affidavit of Financial Support
- Bank a/c statement (Myself and Parents (as they are supporting me))

Now I would like to re-apply for second time. My question to fellow members on this forum, what further information and supporting documents should I include in my application based on current scenario (like SOP, CV, Property of my parents e.t.c) in order to strengthen my case? Moreover should I have to mention Visa Officer that i have already applied for visa and my application was refused based on following factors and i have worked on it OR should I apply same as before with more supporting documents?

Awaiting for kind response and help from you guys.

Thank You.

1st objection can be sort out by writing a strong SOP.
For 2nd objection, let me know how much amount did you show and for how long it was deposited into your sponsor's account? did you submit any other documents as financial proof?

I think your second statement is the reason because you needed to show all amount that was deposited to your account for atleast 4 to 6months. You can attach your property documents as well to make your financial status more stronger. I would suggest you to re-apply with another strong SOP with the same financial proofs and also a copy of sale deed of your property if you have any.

Best Regards!

and also let me know if your program is really a PGD program or a diploma program? Normally the PGD programs have the duration of 1 year.

@silent3y3s

Sorry I misunderstood it and mistakenly wrote it PGD earlier. Its a diploma program of 2 years. For reference you can see link below:

h(tt)p://saskpolytech.ca/programs-and-courses/programs/Electronic-Systems-Engineering-Technology.aspx

Can you guide me to develop a strong SOP. Also i am planning to move whole finance to one specific account and then represent it. Do you think its a better idea?

Also property documents and vehicle registration are on my parents (Sponsor) name. So can i represent it along with affidavit of financial support in order to strengthen my ties to home country?

This is the reason why they gave your 1st objection. You holds a bachelors degree and then try to go for diploma program. Either go for some MS or PGD program or if you still think that this diploma program is really important to you in any way and it may polish your skills then mention it in your SOP that how can this diploma help you while holding your current qualification and how shall it be helpful for you in the future.
If you want to transfer the amount to a single account, there is no problem but remember you need to hold it for atleast 4 to 6months before re-aplying.
Vehile documents would not be of much help but about property documents, indeed it would help you in showing strong home-ties as well as strong financial status of your parents.
