I have a related question but with a twist...

Both me and my wife are applying for same university and if get admitted , we have to apply for our VISA separately or we can apply together???

I didn't show ties. I was being sponsored, leaving with all kids and have been out of work for more than 10 years, didn't have money or property, etc! Pretty weak isn't it? And yes applied for TRV for spouse. Understand that my husband is my spouse and he had a thriving business but funds were low in the bank statement he submitted. He did not declare most of his assets thinking it was business as usual like applying for a UK visa.
I am from west Africa.

I applied on 17th july along with my child for student visa.I havnt received any response as yet.

Kindly keep in touch. I am about to apply with 2 kids. What did you show as family ties and how much funds were adequate?
It appears that processing time in your country ranges from 2 weeks to 4 months. In mine it took a month to hear from them.
