Hello everyone, great forum. Hope someone can provide advice. My story is this; My husband and I live in our home country. He is a naturalised Canadian citizen, but has been back here for over 15 years. We met 10 years ago, got married and now have three wonderful daughters. They are all Canadian citizens by birth abroad of a citizen(my husband) My concern is this: The kids have been hounding us to take them for a visit to canada and we would like to, but I would need a TRV. How difficult do you think it would be for me to obtain one, seeing that my husband and kids are Canadians? A point to note is that we have an established and profitable business here, property, and family and my husband has no plans whatsoever to return to resettle in Canada. He has not even visited since he´s been back. I also have good travel history, have a ten-year US visa and have visited the US twice before with the entire family. We travel for vacation annually (short 2-week visits), but this time the girls are bent on visiting Canada. I would hate that they would not be able to visit their second country of citizenship because mommy has been rejected for a TRV. They say they won´t feel comfortable going if I can´t go.lol. Guys, what do you think my chances are in this situation? Is it possible, or would I just be wasting my time applying for a visa? Thanks for your response.
