Canadian sponsoring wife of 19 years

My question comes regarding residence on the sponsorship form. I live outside Canada for many years with my wife, and our 2 children (Canadians). In the overview it says if I have reasonable explanation of why I do not have residence, or rental, to provide reasonable explanation?

So, my daughter will graduate from Egypt Canadian High School in 2010, but we cannot make decision of where we locate until she decides, and accepted by university, when she choses. That is place we will move to. Is that a good enough explanation. She has marks well over 90% in Ontario System. Should I prove that?

I am going to apply 2 years early as seems the delays are very long. I see no other hitches with form than this one.

Thanks for any previous experience.

I am also a canadian living in Egypt and i had to prove that I'll return to Canada too..

I provided them with:

- Job offer
- letters from family and friends saying that they are waiting for us in Canada
- proof of a bank account in Canada
- rental lease

Its better to provide as much as possible. Your idea about ur daughter is good but i would suggest to try to have more proof.. its better to be safe then sorry

good luck!
