LANDED..........

I have just got my visas and COPR. But i met someone i want to marry. He is US citizen.
I plan to land in Canada for the first time in july. M fiance will join me shortly after.
We want to marry immidiately. What to do...?
I am very fresh Canadian PR.
We want to live in Canada.
Are there any objections to my marriage just after receiving PR status? Still my PR plastic cards will not be with me. Just COPR.
I think we will apply for his PR outland but he will stay with me as long as possible on his visit visa. I think he has 6 months and later he can extend his staying.

do your research and save the hassle and time.

1. you can marry to whom ever you want where ever you want.
2. he can live with you but you cannot sponsor his visa as various factors may apply like your income, accommodation or bla bla bla.
3. don't live in dreams......it may take up to 6 years for spousal PR processing.....because of so much fraud done by especially Asian immigrants......they now do a very deep and lengthy investigation.
4. it wont matter you have PR card or COPR.....now days PR is taking 90 days to deliver but that wont affect your marriage decision.
5. since the fraud is all time high and you marrying as soon as landing......obviously it will take longer time to get your spouse' case processed.
6. better consult authorized immigration lawyer or consultant to get a professional advice and help in this regard.
