Hello
We are currently Canadian PRs who have B2 ( US Visitor Visas). We want to travel to the US via land border.
Per my knowledge , during the first admission , we will be taken to secondary inspection and finger printed. That means we will have to exit the car and go to the room , pay the 6$ and complete the process.
Once that is completed , we will be given a paper I-94 which usually lasts 6 months.
Now , on subsequent trips within that 6 month period , can we travel to the US without going through secondary ? Will we be allowed to enter with just our I-94s and without exiting our vehicles ?
How will they scan this I-94 since it's not even got a bar code ? Or will they simply look at the date on the I-94 and let us in ? Can someone with experience please comment.
Thanks
