Canadian PR status - Can i sponsor or bring my future wife to Canada?

Hi Everyone (specially champion members),

I am here to gather some information and for that I apologize in advance for my ignorance. I hope you guys will be generous and will point me to the right direction.

I have PR status in Canada and have been working for 4-5 years. I would like to know if I can marry a British Citizen and bring her to Canada immediately. Few questions:

1- I couldnt find info on CIC.GC.CA for people who are in PR status and want to marry a foreigner. If you guys know the page, pls let me know.

2- Being just a PR, not a Canadian Citizen, can i sponsor my future wife? I guess this is my biggest confusion. I dont think I can sponsor anyone till i become Citizen. So what happens if i marry a non-Canadian abroad in my current status?

3- She is working for one of the big 4 accounting firms in UK. Would you guys suggest that she first get a intra-company transfer to Canada. And then I start the legal work here when she is in Canada? I definitely want to get engaged asap ... but perhaps we can start the legal sponsor filing later...hopefully that wont create any legality issues?

1. There is nothing stopping you from marrying a foreigner.

2. Yes, as a PR you can sponsor your spouse. You must remain in Canada during processing.

3. She can transfer here if she can. It does not matter if she is in Canada or not to sponsor her though.
