Canadian PR getting married in the philippines

Hi,

I'm a filipino canadian permanent resident wanting to get married in the phillipines. Do I need to provide a statutory declaration of my single status here in Canada since I'm a resident here? much like the cenomar document required to apply for marriage license

Im not sure but I dont think it applies to PR's

I got married in the Philippines as well and had to go to the Canadian embassy in Makati to get the Statutory Declaration before I could submit the application for marriage at city hall in Pasay....though I am a naturalized Canadian citizen from the Philppines
