Hi,

I am living in UK under Tier 1 & I applied for Canadian immigration in 2007. I got my PR in December 2009 & it is valid until Jan 2015. I spent around 2 months in Canada & returned to UK in end of Jan 2010.

I got married in Sep 2010 & my wife joined me in UK. Now my Uk visa is going to expire in August 2012 so before that I want to apply for my wife \ Baby Canadian PR. So my question is

1. Can I apply for my Wife \ Baby Candain PR from UK now?
2. If I will go to Canada in August 2012 then can I apply for their PR before I will leave? As from UK it will take 7 months to process the application.
3. If they can move with me on visit visa then can i apply from inside Canada?

What is the best option to apply for their Canadain PR so that it will processed quickly.

Regards,

No! As a PR you must be physically in Canada before you can apply.

2. If I will go to Canada in August 2012 then can I apply for their PR before I will leave? As from UK it will take 7 months to process the application.
Yes, but I would get yourself established in Canada with an apartment, job, and real evidence that you plan to remain in Canada, before you apply

3. If they can move with me on visit visa then can i apply from inside Canada?
I think you would have better luck making that work if you first got yourself established in Canada.

It occured to me that Canada does no yet know about your wife and baby. You could try sending her to Canada first as a visitor. You would then follow later together with your baby. I think you will have trouble otherwise since you are a PR having only spent a very short time in Canada. You will likely need to go by yourself first to Canada and get yourself established.
