Hello Immigration Gurus,

I am going to apply for Canadian PR within week as a skilled worker. Right now I have H1B but freakly speaking I am no beach and my company is still holding my H1B. So my question here to you guys is that; If I applied now under status of H1B and after 2 to 3 months if I didnt get any project and I need to change my status (i.e. back to F-1), will that change in status affect my PR application or not?

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks.

If you have work experience as a "Information System Manager" - NOC 0213 and similar work responsibilities for 1yr in the last 10 years you can apply for PR under FSW category.

It does not make any difference if you are on a H1B or F1 or L1 or even H4 in the future. H1B is not a qualification for Canadian PR so nothing changes if your status changes.
But you should update CIC of your visa status.

Take more advise before u proceed.......
