Canadian PR Application using PhD as work experience!

Hi all, I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at McGill. I did Ph.D. from Singapore (2016-2020) and B.Tech from IIT (2012-2016). I am looking to apply for Canadian PR and wondering whether my Ph.D. in Singapore will be considered towards foreign work experience? Especially, I want to use Ph.D. as the highest degree and also use it for foreign work experience (3+ years) to get extra points. Any suggestions or relevant personal experiences are welcome! PhD would be considered education. What part of your PhD would you want to consider as work experience? Were you a teacher? Full-time lab worker?
