Canadian PR and TRV

Hi,
I am planning to apply for my Canadian PR sometime in last week of September from Canada. Myself and Spouse has our Valid Work permits till Jan 2016 but our Canadian VISA has expired.
My wife plan to visit India soon and will come back sometime in November. Can we apply for TRV from India while awaiting for the File Number?? or what is the ideal time for applying TRV from India in my case

TRV takes approximately 2 weeks and yes you can apply for the TRV in India. No ideal time to apply for one, but if there are travel plans at least a month before it.

Thanks for the information. Will there be any conflict between the two(PR and TRV) as while applying for PR she is in Canada, but applied TRV when in India??

TRV for workers/students is straightforward as one already has the work/study permit. Only if one is applying for a visitor TRV and already has a PR application in process, does it create problems.
