Canadian Police clearance in Toronto...digital or paper finger

Hello Friends,

I am little confused about the Canadian PCC in Toronto.
I have not filed anything yet.
do we need to get a police clearance from police station or fingerprinting agency ?
one consultant told me that I can get through police station and my friend told me that she got digital fingerprints through agency?

where exactly i need to get PCC from?

1. You only need a PCC from Canada if CIC has requested it. They do their own name check.
2. If they request it, then you go to the Corp of Commissionaires or another facilitator and get digital prints, 72 hours for results. Paper prints take about 3/4 months.
