CANADIAN PASSPORT EXPIRY

Hi,

My friend is in Pakistan, but he holds a Canadian Passport as well which has got expired few years back. Now he is intending to get it renewed.

Can anyone please let me know is it possible to do so?

If yes, what is the procedure?

He needs to contact the Canadian visa post serving his country of residence - go to their website they will detail the process and requirements.

He would have to apply for a new Canadian Passport at the nearest Canadian Consulate or Embassy. He should have applied for a new Canadian Passport long before his passport actually expired. Did he use his Canadian Passport to enter Pakistan or his Pakistan Passport? If he used his Canadian Passport to enter Pakistan, he was required to keep his Canadian Passport up to date while staying in the country.
