I've been busting my brains about this and i need some guidance and advise.

My boyfriend lives in the States (NY). I currently live in Ontario (Toronto). He went to the states on a visitors visa and over stayed. We want to get married but i do not know how the process works. My question is, what do we start with? Do we get married in the states? Do we just sign papers and the process will just fall into place.. will he be deported back to his country..I want to marry him and sponsor him and let him come and live here in Toronto, Canada. He doesn't have a criminal record, he is working (under the table), I do not want him to go back to where he came from because he has nothing and nobody there. How long will the process take?

Help Please!!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You can get married in the US. Then you can apply to sponsor him for PR. As long as an interview is not requested, he would not have to leave the US until he has his PR visa and moves to Canada.

The processing time depends on his home country. You can see that here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp
