Hi,

I would like to know if NGO experience accounted for in Canadian immigration? If yes what is the NOC code and job opportunities I can have after moving to Canada.

Yes if skilled A, B or 0. Can’t tell you the NOC code. You can find it in the database. NGO is a broad term but a small market in Canada. As for jobs with NGOs, depends on your experience, education and contacts. If you are bilingual then very beneficial as many NGOs are based in Ontario or Quebec. If your NGO has a Canadian office then talk to them. Honestly don’t expect to work in an NGO as your first job.
