Dear All,

I need your help urgently;

I applied for a job in Canada which I was successful (QSWP). After going through a process with my employer and them asking me to send a LIMA document to the Canadian Immigration, which I did. I received a letter from the Canadian Immigration Service with an Application forms to apply for a Visa and Work Permit and also contact my employer for an Offer Letter. They requested that I furnished them with list of items which includes a scan copy of my chest x-ray from a hospital/clinic/medical lab/medical centre. My question is;

1) I went to a medical centre for the chest x-ray and they ask that I contact an International Organisation for Migration in my country, which I did; the Organisation told me that I have to do a full medical and they have to send it for me; but I don’t understand because the Canadian Immigration Service was specific (Chest x-ray) and I need to submit this together with other documents. Any advice?

2) I need an Offer Letter from my Employer but have not heard from them ever since I requested from them the letter. I need this letter also to be attached to the filled Visa and Work Permit form to be sent to my IRCC Immigration Case Attorney (for Quebec Selection Certificate and Express Entry Regional Clearance Authorisation) whose email have been provided to me. Any advice?

3) I have only 4 working days left to submit this to the Canadian Immigration Service and have not heard anything from my employer. Any advice?

Others can comment but on the information posted this sounds very odd. An LMIA is an employer responsibility to follow through on and a medical where required needs to be completed with a panel physician plus is not just an X-ray but an actual medical the results of which are generally passed direct to IRCC.

Out of interest what was the job, has your future employer advertised it to proceed with the LMIA ? Have you parted with any money so far for this process? Have you completed any Quebec specific immigration requirements ?

I may be reading more to this than there is based on your post but seems odd contact from your future employer has stopped for now given you are quite reasonably asking for an offer letter. As said others more familiar with the upfront Quebec process will hopefully add comments as well.
