Canadian gross salary and net salary

Hi,

Could anybody tell me what are all the things that are deducted from the gross salary? Is it only income tax? What about your pension scheme and heath insurance, are those deducted from the gross salary as well?

I am trying to figure out the net salary from job postings.

I appreciate any information regarding this.

The following items will be deducted from your salary:
- Income tax (federal and provincial)
- Canada Pension Plan contributions
- Employment Insurance contributions

After that, there are voluntary deductions like RRSP contributions, enhanced medical coverage, etc.
