Canadian experience criteria in Express entry

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if the Canadian full time work experience has to be continuous for 1 year or cumulative 1 year experience with certain time gap is acceptable eg. 7 months with one employer and 5 months with another with 5 months of gap between them.

Please share your opinions on this topic.
