Hi ,

I have 2 years canadian experience as a Business analyst role and planning to apply for PR under canadian experience class cateogry. As this category is assesed based on the numble of application under each NOCs, when i try to findout the application recieved under NOC-2171 , i am unable to locate the numbers as the category NOC 217 never appears on the overall status of application.

Does anyone has any idea how to progress further for the PR application for NOC-2171?

Just to add to this:

I have a USA visitor visa , Can I go to my home country from Canada and come back from home country --> USA and then to Canada by driving ?

If you have a multiple entry then, i guess you can

As 2171 is a NOC-A, you will not find. The list and quota is only for NOC-B

What does this have to do with the OPs question?
If you have a valid visa for the US then yes, you can fly there and enter Canada at a land border. If you have a valid
visa for both countries.

2171 is a skill level A occupation and therefore there is no sub-cap for this NOC. You can check
the number of overall accepted applications here:

You have to apply before they reach the 8,000 cap.
