Canadian experience class - do we need to be physically present in Canada?

Hi Folks

I am working for a Canadian company and in past have travelled to usa and will travel to usa once travel restrictions are lifted. I travel to usa for work related meetings with usa clients.

can the travel time to usa be counted to calculate 52 weeks of Canadian work experience?

Maybe they'll be ok if it's a short period in total, but as general rule work experience only counts as canadian if it's done physically in Canada. Working outside Canada for canadian employers under canadian payroll does not count.
