Canadian experience Class - Abnormal wait time?

Hey Guys..wondering if you guys could share your wait times? I know there is a thread for this but I see that all posts relate to people "landing" where as I have applied through CEC.

I got invited and applied for my PR in June 2017. Nearing a year now and still no further advancement apart from asking for a criminal record check which I did immediately and submitted in August of 2017.

Called them in January 2018 and was told it is still in progress but thats about it. I know they take far longer than their stated online wait times but this is getting to be a little crazy..(Or is it?)

Did you get it in the end? It is crazy that you had to wait so much. I don't understand why some peoplereceive it in 3-4 months and others more than 6 months. I am personally waiting more than five months now.
