I got my open work permit on aug 10 th 2017, since then i am working in canada, now does my experiance is calculated from aug 2017 to july 2018 for 1 year or aug 10 2017 to aug 10, 2018.

1 year = 52 weeks of work experience. So August 2017 to August 2018.

From the date you actually started working (not the date your permit was issued or received), unless it was a PGWP (different rules).

One year from Aug 10 2017 would be Aug 9, 2018.

Aug 10 2017 - Aug 10 2018 would be 1 year + one day.
