Canadian Exp in last how many years?

Hi,

If I remember correctly, earlier CIC was considering years of Canadian Exp in last 3 years. Does anyone know whether CIC is now considering Canadian exp in last 5-10 years?

The reason I'm asking because I had exp from Jan-13 to Dec-14. When I submitted profile today, it seems I got points considering 2 years of Canadian exp.

Also, any idea if it will be reduced next month?

Did you submit EE profile or application? Canadian experience in last 10 years is considered additional points in skill transferability. However, to be eligible for CEC, you should have had at least 1 year of full time Canadian work ex in past 3 years.

I submitted EE Profile again, as my previous one was expired. It is currently showing me eligible for CEC as well & counting 46 points for 2 years of Canadian experience.

Yes, next month you'll be ineligible for the CEC program.

Thanks! It seems I may not remain eligible for CEC, however my points may not reduce. Technically my Canadian exp in last 3 years is only 1 year now, however 46 points for 2 years is considered after my profile submission. It will be confirmed in a week or so.

Correct, there won't be a change in your CRS score.
