Hi guys, I have queries on what options available for my case. Sorry for long post.

I moved to Canada in Jan 2011 on study permit to do my Masters degree and got graduated in 2012. I got my job in same field of my Masters degree and worked in Canada from May 2012 - May 2016 on Work visa. I got my PR card on March 2016 while I was in Canada. I moved back to India in June 2016 and since then due to personal reasons happened in India I did not go back to Canada. I got new job in India in Sept 2016 which is also a Canadian firm (working remotely) and currently still working for the same comapny.

Currently my Company wants me to visit Canada for short duration (2 weeks). Will I be allowed to enter with my PR card as I did not go to Canada for almost 3 years since I received my PR card? My PR card has validity untill March 2021.
OR Should I apply for visitor visa. Any suggestions would be of great help.

First as a PR you cannot apply for a TRV unless you renounce your PR status.

Second you have not said when you plan to travel but based on your post you appear border line to being reported for failing the residency obligation. Having said that even if reported you are entitled as a PR to enter the country but as said be prepared for the process to revoke your PR status to start, no way to predict, might happen might not.

Having a valid PR card at least means you can board a flight destined for Canada.

As for working for a Canadian company abroad that is not relevant unless you were employed by same company in Canada and they assigned you temporarily outside of Canada, only then could you claim to continue to meet the residency obligation.Based on your post this appears to not be the case.
