Canadian equivalence of 2 Years Master of Arts (English) from Indian university

i have done my eca evaluation and got the below report:

1. Bachelor of Management Studies (3 years) - canadian equivalency is 4 years
2. Master of Management Studies (2 years) - canadian equivalency is Postgraduate diploma (one year)

is this evaluation right? has any one with Masters got the same result? please help

It happens with some masters. With this ECA yoi get points for two or more diplomas

Ok but the points are reduced right. There is a difference of 7 points. But why does this happen. Is their any way to reevaluate this and get masters as canadian equivalency?

you can go with ICAS if you want. Make sure it's worth it though

ok but then again spend 200 $ for the same. also will it be worth or through wes we can earn more points. i am just worried for the point nothing else.

it's your decision. could be the same could be different. some claim there is more leniency from icas towards indian diplomas.

My WES Degree Equivalency is mentioned below. Can i choose "2 or more Certificates, Diplomas or degress" in level of education drop down in the CRS tool?

Country of Education: India
Name of Degree: Bachelor of Arts

Equivalency in Canada: Community College Diploma (3 years)

Country of Education: India
Name of Degree: Master of Arts

yes, it depends on the division, 1st division are likely to be considered better. For ex, i have bcom from delhi university (3 years) in 1st division, its considered as Bachelors study (4 years ) in Canada, if it were 3rd division, it would have been evaluated as Bachelors (3 years) in CanadaWhat is meant by division? Is it first class or grade?
