Canadian Criminal Records as a Mexican

Hello everyone,

I got an ITA recently and I got stuck with one of the documents.

I live in Mexico, but I studied for a year in Vancouver, so I need my Canadian Criminal Records. I'm gathering everything to send it to Canadian Fingerprints. The process needs me to send my fingerprints to the RCMP, and it needs the form to be signed by a police officer here in Mexico. I've tried talking to various police offices, but no one is willing to help me out with the process, does anyone know where I can go in Mexico to get it done?

Recibí una ITA recientemente y estoy un poco atorada en uno de los trámites.

Vivo en México, pero estudié en Vancouver por un año, así que necesito mis antecedentes no-penales canadienses. Estoy haciendo el trámite con Canadian Fingerprints. El proceso me pide que mande mis huellas a la policía canadiense, pero necesito la firma de la policía mexicana para poder mandarlas. He hablado a varias instituciones pero me dicen que ninguna hace ese proceso. Algún mexicano ha hecho este proceso ya y sabe como completarlo?

No you don't need to submit a Canadian police certificate at the time of your application. IRCC will contact you later if they want it. Not everyone will be asked to submit it.
