Longer answer : The process is changing a lot, online test and oath have been implemented recently, but the number of new citizen, after a near complete halt for months, is back up, but nowhere near the pre-pandemic levels. Your application being recent isn't impacted by the complete stop due to the cancelation of tests and oaths and there's an alternative now that you'll benefit from, but there are many in line that have waited for far more than the expected year of processing before covid. You'll probably have to wait till IRCC reaches its cruise speed, and we're unsure when that would be. Hang tight.
