Hi Jaroddz,
I wrote my test at glen erin in mississauga last march 08,2012. I called CIC y'day and said that it will take about 2-6 months to get results.

It s a generic answer, the same thing when you were calling them before the test and keep saying the process it may take up to 19 months, my guess May will be our month. Hang on

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 27, 2009.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 27, 2009.

We started processing your application on March 29, 2010.

Your file was transferred to the CIC Hamilton office on June 7, 2010.

We sent you a letter on September 10, 2010 ABC Hamilton ..If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents.

We sent you a notice on November 29, 2010 to ABC Hamilton to appear and write the citizenship test on December 14, 2010 at 8:15 AM.

We sent you a letter on January 10, 2011 to ABC Hamilton If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible.

We sent you a letter on July 19, 2011 to ABC Hamilton If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible.

I HAVE BEEN WAITTING ABOUT 3 YEARS !

each local office has different timeline, well definitely your case got something special to take 3 years, I hope it will get resolved soon.

HI All,
I applied in Oct 2009 I saw so many people they finish full process in one year but long long long waiting list people like me stuck with 3 to 4 years But am glad almost done my citizenship journey. Give a look to my processing time.

Application received on Oct 27 2009 & sent booklet.
September 23 2010 they asked for more documents which I provide.
Feb 20 2011 they transfer.
April 26 2011 asked for finger prints.
March 16 2012 date for citizenship exam.
April 21 2012 come for oath ceremony.
Don't worry U will be fine GOOD LUCK!!!

2006 - Work permit
2007 - PNP from Alberta
2009 - PR granted
March,6-th 2012 Wrote my citizenship exam in Calgary, AB. Still waiting for oath invitation.

I have been traveling a lot because of work. Short trips (5-6 days) primarily to USA and Europe, but really a lot. Like 30 in entire period. Allowed myself a cushion and put an explanatory note and yet ... still waiting. We have been living here and owning a house so should be able to prove residency in needed, but I am crossing my fingers still hoping not to get RQ.
