I was stressed but trying to keep calm. The agent checked out some of my personal info. Questions like: "What is your current address?", "Complete name?", "Where did you live before?", "When were you born? Where?", "Why do you have an Italian passport?". He checked and compared stamps from my passports and ask me when I had last visited my country.
Then, he asked me the places where I had lived. He was interested in comparisons, lifestyle. After that he asked me if I had been working. I responded that in spite of the fact that I enjoy working, I could only get part time jobs but added that on next Monday I will start paid training as a bilingual customer representative. At that point he added, "So you like working?" to which I responded, "Of course... I love my profession and I enjoy learning new things."
I mentioned that in all the Canadian cities that I have lived, I have volunteered and gotten involved in library chats such as travelogues.
I brought a sheaf of photocopies, ready to pass to him as evidence of a clear concience. I had everything including my apartment lease. He told me that none of it was necessary. He stated,, "I don’t need that. We have it all here." He continued with his questions. He asked me, how big is my apartment. I told him it is quite small.
So at the end he said: you will receive an email to let you know if you need more papers or be invited for the oath. I said, "Is this all?". He answered yes.

Ten minutes! Very good agent.

I would have loved that he told me if I was going to give the oath or not. When I asked he told me they can't let us know that any more.
