Canadian Citizenship - Eligible By Descent As An Adult?

Can anyone assist with establishing if my two now adult children are eligible to claim Canadian Citizenship?

Here are the facts:

1. I was born in Canada in 1950 and migrated in 1961 to England with parents (also born in Canada)
2. I hold and always have held a Canadian passport
3. I believe I am classed as a Canadian Citizen now resident abroad
4. I married an English born girl we had two children one born in England in 1984 and other two years later
5. I have never registered or applied to have either of the children recognised as Canadian Citizens born outside of Canada

Yes it sounds to me like they are Canadian citizens but as they are born abroad, they can not pass citizenship onto their own children who are born outside Canada after April 17th 2009.
