I actually became a Canadian Citizen in February 2016 and got my Canadian passport in March 2016. I wanted to confirm from people whether there is anything known as the Canadian Citizenship Card? Does it exist? If yes what does it look like and how does one apply for it?

It doesn't exist anymore.
They replaced it with the Citizenship Certificate given to you at the oath ceremony.
