A question.

I currently live in Canada and have found a job in USA. I will be commuting cross borders every day for work. My wife is pregnant. Do i have to live in US and have a US address in order to have my wife deliver baby in US hospital?

No. You just have to have the insurance or money to pay for it.

U.S. Border Patrol may not like it, though. If your wife is not an American citizen or LPR, it's possible that she may be turned back at the border. If you are an American citizen or LPR, it would be wise for you to accompany her across the border.

I would just be prepared to show proof of US health insurance at the border when your wife is heavily pregnant.

If you are commuting back and forth everyday by car, better check car insurance laws. Some states (Michigan in particular) are pretty stringent on what kind of car insurance you must have--even if you are a non-resident.
