I am a Canadian citizen. I got married to a Syrian woman in Syria and we have been living there for a year. I have not sponsored my wife to immigrate to Canada yet (big mistake). Now my wife is pregnant, and we are expecting our baby in couple of months. Due crisis is Syria, I would like to go back to Canada as soon as possible with my wife of course.
Please answer my questions:

1- Do you think that she can get a visa to Canada to go with me immediately?
2- If not, and if we waited until she delivers in Syria, (I believe that the baby would be Canadian), can they come along with me to Canada???
3- What do you advice me to do????

Hi dino1, :D,

I suggest you visit the Canadian embassy in Damascus.

1- Do you think that she can get a visa to Canada to go with me immediately? : Only visitor visa is the fastest. You should explain that you want to take wife due to the current situation in Syria ( Embassy in Damascus knows about it )

2- If not, and if we waited until she delivers in Syria, (I believe that the baby would be Canadian), can they come along with me to Canada??? - Still your wife need a visitor visa or PR visa

3- What do you advice me to do? - Contact personally the Damascus embassy official at their enquiry window.
