Hi everybody, here is my situation:
I'm a Canadian citizen by birth. My girlfriend is a Chinese citizen. We plan to get married in Hong Kong towards the end of this year. Our goal is to live in Canada. Obviously after the marriage takes place, I want her to be with me as soon as possible in Canada.

I assume our marriage in Hong Kong will be recognized here in Canada.

My girlfriend has already visited Canada on a visitor visa in the past. She will be applying for another visa quite soon and hopefully will get the multi-entry 10 year type.

After our marriage in Hong Kong later on, can she come over to Canada on her already-valid visitor visa and then apply for permanent residence here?
I don't really mind how long it'll take for her to get permament residence status as long as she is with me here in Canada.

What is the best way for us to be reunited in Canada as soon as possible?

Sorry for all the questions over the place, I hope you understood my scenario. :) I thank you all who'll take the time to offer your input. Much appreciated!

Yes if she can get a multiple visa she should apply outland, as its only about 7 months process, good luck
