Canadian Children in Express Entry

Hello,

I have 2 children born in Canada, they have the Canadian Citizenship by birth. I submitted my PR application (Express Entry) and have considered them as dependents. So I paid the PR fees for them as well. My application was updated, and they removed my kids from the dependents list and kept only my wife as dependent.

Would this affect my PR application, since it seems I shouldn't have considered them as dependents? And since I have paid for them the PR fee which was not required, am I allowed to get a refund?

They are still dependents, but you didn’t need to pay the PR fees as they are Canadian. It won’t affect your application and you should get a refund.
