In situation, I just started Master Degree in Canada for 16-month course, and my wife is currently holding Temporary Resident Visa to accompany me in Canada. And good news is she is pregnant.

I wanna know if my child is borned in Canada, will he/she be the citizens?

Where can I read immigration information related to Canadian born child by foreigner parents? I could not find in CIC's website. Kindly help. Thanks.

Yes, assuming that neither of you are diplomats the child is a citizen.

The child being a citizen does not automatically mean you can stay on in Canada. Both yourself and your wife have to apply to renew your status(permits or visitor visa) before they expire if you wish to remain in Canada.

As SenoritaBella said - the short answer is no. You derive no benefit from having a citizen child.

However once that child becomes an adult, they may be able to sponsor your for PR (provided they meet the sponsorship requirements).

Make very sure that your wife has health insurance and that she's covered for all expenses incurred due to childbirth. The child will be covered automatically due to its citizenship.
