Canadian background check

Good Morning to you all.

My husband got an email saying they are waiting the results of my canadian background check. Is it like the FBI that takes 10 weeks?

Does anyone know how it works? They asked my passporte two months ago and being away for my loved one, specially during this time of the year is hard.

Hi guys! i am august 2012 applicant. had interview on 22nd october 2012, then medical was done on 2nd november and on 28th november i was called for fingerprints at New Delhi visa office. how long it takes after fingerprints. i am waiting for PP request. please reply...............
