Hi Everyone,

I will be landing / entering Canada through port of Toronto ( since driving from the US). Can I provide IO with any addresses of any of my friends or relatives that I can prove my kinship to ? or do I have to provide an address with landlords contract, signature and all the official documents ? How does it work ?

Thanks

While landing for pr, the address of your friend or relative can be given. They may ask to know the relation. There is no need to carry any evidence.

one more question:

What if I plan to land in montreal, and give the IO an address in MOntreal, since I applied through PNP Alberta......would be of any concern or a problem why to Immig. officers ?

What if one has no relatives or friends in Canada?
Can you give the address of a hostel where you will be staying until you find a place?

you can not give a hotel address or a bisiness address for the PR card. it has to be a residential address.
