Yes, it would affect your chances that your daughter is autistic. Canada requires all family members to pass a medical. Those who are deemed to cause either danger to public health or excessive demand on the system are refused and when a family is applying together, that means that the whole family is refused.

If you can argue that your daughter will not cause excessive demand on the system, either because she is not severely affected or because you have funds set aside to take care of her needs, you could still get through.

Your wife as a nurse is on the most wanted list for skilled worker so she should do the self-assessment and see if she can get at least 67 points. If she does, she can be the primary applicant and apply for the whole family. You can check that out at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

Another option might by to get a job offer and go through a provincial nominee program or go in on a temporary work permit in the beginning. If your wife gets a work permit, you would get an open work permit as the spouse and you can bring your kids. You can check health match BC at http://www.healthmatchbc.org/
