Canada WP Expires Soon | Dependents Visa Processing

Hello Friends,

I am an Indian citizen on a employer specific Work Permit in Canada, my WP and Visa expires on 15 March 2017.

I would want my family to join me as soon as they can, and at the same time my employer has also started on Visa renewal for 2 years.

However i am confused if i should wait for my visa extension and then apply for my family travel[not sure how long that would be, 80+ days as per immigration site].

Or should i go ahead and apply for my spouse and kids visa and if it arrives before my visa expires[say 5 days before my visa expires], would they be allowed to enter at the immigration and how long can they stay.

Would appreciate your help.

You should get your Closed WP extended and then apply for your spouse and kids. This way your spouse can get her VR validity same as your extended WP.
