Canada visitor visa after US visitor visa rejection

Hi, How difficult is it to obtain a vistors visa in Canada after being rejected for US work visa (B1 visa)?

Canada visit is a personal visit to meet a friend and travel a little bit. My friend can provide the invitation letter and his bank statements to take the responsibility for my stay. Also, I have even enough funds to sponsor my whole trip in my bank account. Can someone share their experience? or, advice what other things I can produce to be able to build a strong application? I guess it depends on the circumstances and why your US visit visa was rejected.

It was refused under 214(b) section, no reason was stated, however based on the interview I felt it was due to a short tenure at my new job who were sending me to US to attend a business conference. That trip was strictly for business purposes, now Canada trip is more of a personal trip. Let me know if this helps to better understand the situation. Thanks!
