Canada visit visa - who is dependent?

hello everyone,

I am applying for my family for canadian visit visa. we are 3 siblings ages 25, 24 and 16. On the applications so the children that are above 18 but still living with parents and financially being supported by them fill out dependent in the forms or do they apply as their own principal applicant.

Any help on this matter is highly appreciated?

Dependant A spouse, common-law partner or dependent child of a permanent resident or principal applicant.
Dependent childA child who depends on their parent for financial and other support.
