Not sure how it is a waste of time and money to carefully review applications to enter a sovereign country other than your own. You. We'd to be patient .......at least it hasn't been refused.

Turn the CAPS lock off. It's rude.

Had you bothered to do 30 seconds of research instead of complaining about your "suffering", you would see that the current processing time for a TRV in India is 27 days, plus mailing time.

Hi Raj,

Your first post in this thread is very impolite. Hope you realize that to be granted a visa is a privilege and not a right. You must be patient.

There's absolutely no delay in processing your TRV application. The estimated processing time is 27 days currently for India applications. Actual processing time will vary. You've applied fairly recently.

You will not get any updates through email until your passport is returned to VFS New Delhi. If you want updates then you can try linking your paper application to your online account.

Visa office staff do not work on weekends nor after 5 pm.

BTW if you hold an Indian passport.... or if you have traveled to either Nepal or Bhutan, you would know that Indians do NOT need a passport nor a visa to visit Nepal or Bhutan. Only an ID is enough. So not sure what you're referring to

Cheers

This 27 days means exact 27 days is it inclusive of sat sun the total days or 27 working days
Processing time stated on the IRCC website is in calendar days, not business days.

The key word for these processing times is *estimate*. It is an average of the time it has taken to process 80% of the applications. Actual processing time will vary from application to application
