What I can do to make my Canada TRV application strong after US B2 VISA refusal (214b).

Please suggest regarding cover letter and way to convince officer for TRV (tourism).

You need to show strong ties to your home country and show you have no plans on remaining in Canada long term. Strong ties are things like proof of employment, property ownership, and evidence of other assets.

How to mention refusal of US B2 visa in cover/purpose letter? Also in application?

Can you please provide sample cover letter of similar case.

He is doing business (last one year) and having bank balance.
No property in his name and he is unmarried.

I don't have any sample cover letters.

The TRV application will ask if you've been refused a visa / refused entry to any country. He will need to answer yes and provide the details of his US refusal (and any other refusals fromt the past).

His profile doesn't sound very strong.

If the US refusal was relatively recent, it may be a good idea to hold off applying for the TRV until he can show strong ties to his home country.

His visa got refused recently. Should we mention refusal in cover letter? Will mention in application. That is the only refusal (once).
What details should we provide for 214b so that it makes less impact?

His complete family (parents, sister), business is in home country. I (brother in law with one of his sister) am in USA as research scholar. Should we mention we will meet him in Canada.

Please suggest.
