Hi Friends,

My wife's USA immigration petition is in-progress. I want my wife to apply for Canada Study visa. Is there any chance that her visa can get approve or they will deny straight away beacuse US immigration petition is in-progress.

Background: my wife wants to study MBA in Canada to save time as US immigartion process will take time.

If anyone can reply, I would be thankful or had similar experience.

Thanks and Regards,

You mean apply for a Canadian study visa? The first line above says "US study visa". I'm assuming that's a typo.

Apologies .. yes it is canada study visa
In that case the fact that she has applied for immigration to the US is really irrelevant to the Canadian study permit. The Canadian study permit will be assessed based on her current profile such whether her studies in Canada make sense in light of her previous education and work experience, sufficient funds, past travel and ties to her home country.

Thanks for the reply. My wife wants to study MBA(as we have business plan for USA) but her background is in teching. will that create issue?

She should include a SOP to explain her choice in studies.

Also make sure she picks a decent school. Stay away from garbage schools like University Canada West.
